If you are coming to Red River Gorge to rock climb all day long, you have a number of options for where you lay your tired bones at night. There are, of course, numerous campgrounds and luxurious cabins to stay for your time at the Gorge, but if you are looking for a communal space to call home while you visit, BedRock should be near the top of your list.
BedRock is located in the middle of some of the Gorge’s most popular climbing attractions, including just 1 mile from the hiking and climbing available at Muir Valley. After a day of hiking, you can relax in their open communal space and trade stories with fellow travelers or hang out by the fire pit outside.
In this hostel-style lodge, you can choose a communal bunk room or a private sleeping quarters, and the kitchen and showers (men’s and women’s) are shared.
