Some restaurant changes are in store as the Gorge enters 2021. Red River Smokehouse, who slung Texas-style BBQ for Gorge visitors and residents since 2018, has handed over their keys to Thatcher’s of Jackson, KY.
The newly titled Thatcher Barbecue Company plans, for now, to keep much of the same menu as the Smokehouse with a few new additions from their original bbq shop, Thatcher’s Downtown. Perhaps most exciting is that Thatcher’s plans apply for an alcohol license and bring live music to the new restaurant in 2021.
