Standing over the fudge counter at Brandenburg General Store, what you thought was going to be a simple decision gets more complicated. Sure, a classic chocolate or peanut butter fudge would be easy and delicious, but you would be missing out the opportunity for rocky road, tiger butter, or one of the other 15+ flavors in front of you.
Luckily, you can let your mouth do the choosing – do yourself a favor and get some samples! Once you find your favorites, be sure to get a selection of fudge flavors for now, later, and some to gift to friends and family.
You’ll also find other giftables and camping gear inside the general store, but once you see the beck and call of the ice cream signs outside – you’ll be drawn to your next sugar-filled stop. Collect your fudge and gifts, head back out the door and around the outside of the building to visit the ice cream counter.
There, an old-fashioned ice cream stand and dairy bar awaits, offering your choice of ice cream flavors, milkshakes and sundaes. Be sure to get an extra scoop as you will want to hang out at their outdoor tables and enjoy your after-hike treat.
